Master of Science in Conservation for Archaeology and Museums, obtained with Merit: Fall, 2014

 

Dissertation, completed with Merit: "Knowing the Ropes: The Considerations and Challenges of Conserving Ship Model Rigging"

 

Over the course of two years, I gained practical conservation skills. This programme consists of one year’s training at the Institute of Archaeology, during which there is emphasis on developing practical experience under specialist guidance in the conservation laboratories, followed by a ten-month assessed conservation internship.

Dissertation, completed with Merit: "Preserving the Beautiful Game off the Pitch: Collections, Considerations, and Conservation at Association Football Club Museums in Europe"

The research for dissertation has been the basis for several lectures and a paper 

 

Over the course of the yearlong programme, I became familiar with the principles, theories, and ethics of conservation, particularly in the field of archaeological and museum conservation.
